HOW DID YOU BECOME A FEMINIST? (Story)

I became a feminist when i was only a child and i was told that i was too emotional. i was told that i couldn’t do this or that, simply because i was a girl. i became a feminist when i was told to cover up, because it was distracting for boys to see my skin. i was in elementary school then. i became a feminist when i was sexually harassed in middle school and told my teacher. when he did nothing, and i suffered another year, because i believed no one would help me. i am a feminist because everyday there are remarks being made about how “gorgeous” i am, how i should “smile. i am a feminist because there are men all around me who believe disgusting behavior is acceptable, because they were raised in a world where men get away with anything. i am a feminist, because i never want little girls to feel like they are inferior from birth for their gender.
