HOW DID YOU BECOME A FEMINIST? (Story)

I became a feminist when I was catcalled at the age of 10, to the point where grown men almost threw bottles of alcohol at my mother and I. When I asked my mom what was happening she said, “keep your eyes down and keep walking, this is what a women’s life is like.” Ever since then I experienced sexism in school, life, sports, and more. I believe the world can change for the better, we just need to unite together and take it one step at a time.
