HOW DID YOU BECOME A FEMINIST? (Story)

I became a feminist because when I was sexually assaulted, it was seen as a joke. I saw this post that said “when I ask girls if they had been sexually assaulted, they said just the normal stuff, grasping, touching parts, being hollered at. I realized that this was what women considered normal in our society, and how society treated our women.” I realized this needed to change, and became inspired by powerful women throughout history like Harriet Tubman and Mary McLeod Bethune who also looked like me. I knew that I wanted a future where I made things great for people, and did it as a woman for the women.
